About the Path Foundation

About the Path Foundation

The brain is the most important organ in the body. Understanding how the brain works leads to innovations that make you smarter, healthier, and more stable so you can sleep better, remember more and continue learning, avoid addictions, prevent obesity, and live a longer, happier life.

Our Mission

Our non-profit foundation is devoted to establishing how the brain functions and developing practical diagnostic and treatment methods that improve well-being and increase lifespan.

Establishing a culture of health: personal responsibility

PATH Foundation believes a multimodal approach to health ensures effective long-term outcomes. The integration of a variety of therapies including nutrients, natural hormones, lifestyle changes, diet, and pharmaceuticals, when appropriate, guarantees a comprehensive method for individuals to participate in their own healing process. We are providing the tools for physicians, scientists, and the public to take charge of their health.

Our Founder

Eric Braverman, MD has studied the brain and its connections within the entire body – head to toe – for over 35 years. Dr. Braverman graduated from NYU with honors, and completed his residency at a Yale Medical School affiliate. He assisted with folic acid studies at Harvard Medical School and contributed to brain and nutrition studies at the Princeton Brain Bio Center. He is the author of several books, and the founder of PATH Medical in NYC. His life’s work is dedicated to the study of the brain’s chemistry and how it affects obesity, addiction, and memory loss, in addition to the wider role of integration of all medical specialties for the singular purpose of life extension.

Our Researchers

Our researchers bring a wealth of experience and background in basic science, medicine, and public health to our work. From this well-rounded perspective, we are involved in groundbreaking research that will make major contributions to restructuring American medicine.

Our Research

Our research is going to save American health care by furthering our understanding of the brain and developing practical diagnostic and treatment methods for clinical use.

The most advanced health care starts the way most of us came into the world – head first.
