On the Horizon

America’s current health care system is not creating a healthy country. Our research is changing lives and improving public health.

A new standard for primary care: the brain-based model of medicine

PATH Foundation is investigating how computerized screening of the brain and body can reign in the $500 billion spent annually on brain-related health problems in America. We apply what we are learning about the brain to tackle the key issues of obesity, addiction, violence, dementia, anxiety, depression, insomnia and other neuropsychiatric conditions.

Our data analysis and studies are demonstrating how an early, brain-based approach to health care results in dramatic differences in quality of life and longevity.

Our findings will make a major contribution to the restructuring of American health care to brain-based medicine by:

• Affirming that brain’s cognitive energy is directly related to the number of brain cells firing, and exponentially related to the brain’s processing speed.

• Confirming that adequate hydration and preservation of brain cells sustains cognitive energy with age by keeping the mind fast and powerful.

• Linking dementia and obesity to hormonal imbalances in the brain.

• Establishing a biomarker for obesity management

• Proving the impact of the hormone PTH on osteoporosis and dementia prevention while emphasizing the critical importance of maintaining low levels of PTH for longevity.

• Improving parity of men and women in the work force with awareness and early correctionof the rising levels of hormones FSH and LH from age twenty-two onwards.

• Highlighting menopause as a main cause of dementia in women.

• Fighting the fifth leading cause of death in the US (accidents due to adult Attention Deficit Disorder) with standardized national baseline testing and identifying more successful early treatments of illness.

Prioritized health care: you’re only as young as your oldest part

PATH Foundation promotes a comprehensive physical examination using ultrasound to provide a complete picture of your health and the specific areas that need your focused time and energy. This method of prioritization ensures early detection of heart disease, brain aneurysms, prostate nodules, carotid stenosis, fatty liver, gall stones, kidney stones, bladder tumors, thyroid nodules, endometrial thickening, and other conditions that threaten health.

The new physical examination identifies these diseases before the standard American physical can find them, allowing the patient to prioritize the focus and scheduling of care. We are actively conducting research that will move America to establish a new, prioritized health model by:

• Developing a new Flexner Report for informing medical education

• Collecting data demonstrating the benefits of a new, computerized physical exam

• Establishing differential aging throughout the body

• Demonstrating how specific aging-associated illnesses can be reversed using natural hormone therapies

• Analyzing the reliability and validity of true age print quizzes to assist in better health care selections

A culture of health: personal responsibility

PATH Foundation’s work advocates a new culture of health which guides society to alter its priorities in various areas including the entertainment, food, insurance, healthcare, housing and pharmaceutical industries. When we all grasp the effects of the environment, energy sources, education, and faith on our health, we can effectively use our resources to create a healthier society.

Through education and research, we are empowering people with the means to live long healthy lives in a healthy society. Our studies will create a culture of health by:

• Educating patients and medical practitioners about new medical techniques and alternative therapies

• Substantiating our observation that muscle mass is exponentially more imporatnt than bone density in predicting the longevity of the human frame

• Furthering our understanding of the causes of obesity and its effects throughout the body

• Showing how cadmium, lead, mercury, and other heavy metal toxicities contribute to cardiovascular and neuropsychological diseases

• Working with local and national leaders and politicians to build a culture in which health is a primary goal in all decisions
